What we are asking — not an endorsement, but a conversation: an initial view on whether this falls within your mandate, a referral to the right mechanism, or informed coverage. The narrow request is that the pretrial detention of a cooperating 95-year-old with serious health needs be assessed against established international human-rights standards before irreversible harm is done.
